Twins Volleyball notched its first win of the season in competitive fashion against the Huskies of Word of Life Bible Institute. The game's intensity lasted throughout five sets, with C-GCC emerging victorious 21-25, 26-24, 25-15, 23-25, 15-10.
Match standouts included D'Arcy Bittner with a career-high 10 kills, 10 aces and 9 digs. Freshman Gwen Cody also made a big impact, contributing 9 kills and 11 digs. Setter Shannon McNeff held her own with 13 assists, 4 aces and 5 digs and returner Veronica Mayhew contributed 5 assists, 5 aces and 8 digs.
The Twins' next match will be hosting North Country CC Saints on Wednesday, Oct. 7th.
