Twins Take Down Cougars

The Twins traveled to Clinton Community College to take on the Cougars this past weekend.

This is the first meeting between the two this season.  The Twins are looking to continue to climb up the standings by earning another conference victory.  They started off the game in a high scoring fashion with 20 points in the first quarter.  They finished the half with 45 points to give them a strong lead going into halftime.  The Twins cruised to victory in the second half putting up a total 98 points against the Cougars.  Leading the way for the Twins was freshman Casiris Ruiz.  Ruiz dropped 19 points and had six assists and six steals.  Sophomore Tanisha Edge scored 16 points and had five assists and five steals.  Sophomore All'aha Albright contributed 14 points with three assists and two steals.  Freshman Daniella Weinschreider also contributed 14 points.  The Twins will have a chance to take down the top team in the region when they face #4 Mohawk Valley Community College.

The Twins will be taking on the Mohawk Valley Community College Hawks February 7th.  The Hawks are currently the top team in the region on both the men's and women's side.  The women's game will begin at 5 pm and the men's game will follow at 7 pm.
