Twins Drop 98 on Raiders

The Twins women's basketball team took on the Fulton-Montgomery Community College Raiders Wednesday evening.  The Twins have been hot recently as they hold onto an eight-game win streak going into the game.  They got off to another early lead in this one with 28 points scored in the first quarter.  They would take that lead into halftime, 39 – 24.  A huge third quarter for the Twins let them cruise to victory, 98 – 67.  This marks the ninth win in a row for the Twins.  Sophomore Tanisha Edge had a big game for the Twins achieving a triple-double.  Edge finished the night with 35 points, 11 assists, and 11 rebounds.  Freshman Casiris Ruiz continues her dominance as well as she dropped 30 points and had four steals and four assists.  Freshman Daniella Weinschreider also continues to be a key player with 10 points and five rebounds in the victory. Sophoomore All'aha Albright also contributed eight points and nine rebounds as she neared a double-double.  The Twins will travel to North Country Community College for their next matchup.  They will take on the Saints Sunday January 28th.  The women's game starts at 1 pm and the men's starts at 3 pm.
