Sophomore Tanisha Edge received Region III Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season. Edge received the award for her performance in the Twins victory over #7 ranked Finger Lakes Community College. This was the only game for the Twins last week. Edge played all 40 minutes of regulation time. She only played two minutes of over-time however after she fouled out. Despite exiting early, Edge scored 26 points to lead the Twins in the victory. She also added four rebounds, three assists, and one steal. This is the second time this season that Edge has received this honor and the sixth time in her Twins career. Tanisha Edge will return after the winter break when the Twins take on nearby rivals Hudson Valley Community College. The game will take place at home on Tuesday January 9th. The women's game begins at 5 pm and the men's game follows at 7 pm.
