Twins Battle for Third Straight Win

The women's basketball team traveled to Corning Community College on Sunday to take on the Red Barons.  The Twins were looking for another win to make it three in a row on Sunday.  It was tight in the first half of the game.  Both teams kept it close though the Twins would be outscored 36 – 32 heading into halftime.  They came out hot in third quarter scoring 19 points to take the lead 51 – 47.  The Red Barons fought back in the fourth quarter, but the Twins stayed resilient to get the win 65 – 63.  Sophomore Tanisha Edge achieved a double-double to lead the Twins to victory.  Edge scored 18 points and had 10 assists along with six rebounds and seven steals. Freshman Selena Jones had another high scoring game with 14 points scored and five rebounds. Sophomore All'aha Albright scored 12 points and had seven rebounds. The Twins will finish out the first half of the season at Finger Lakes Community College.  They will be taking on the #7 ranked Lakers on Saturday December 16th.  Women's game begins at 1 pm with the men's game following at 3 pm.
