Twins Defeat Royals for Second Time

The women's team took on the Schenectady County Community College Royals for the second time this season.  The first time these teams met the Twins dominated to get the win by over 30 points.  The Twins came out of the gate with that dominance once again.  Columbia-Greene led after the first quarter 26 – 8.  A big second quarter increased their lead to 47 – 20 going into the half.  The Twins cruised to victory against the Royals for the second time this season by a final score of 73 – 52.  Freshman Selena Jones led the scoring for the Twins with 20 points and four rebounds.  Sophomore Tanisha Edge scored 19 points and recorded six steals, six assists, and four rebounds.  Sophomore Stacey Cherestal also contributed 10 points and three assists.  The Twins will play on the road once again and take on Corning Community College Sunday December 10th.  The women start at 1 pm and the men begin at 3 pm.
