The men's and women's basketball schedules have officially been released for the 2017 – 2018 season.  Both teams look to improve on their records from last year.  Returning for the women's team is standout point guard Tanisha Edge.  She returns after earning the Player of the Year award for the Mountain Valley Conference and All-Region honors last season.  The women's team has also brought in eight freshmen to join the returners this season.  The men's team lost their two standout players to graduation last season.  Still, six players return from last year's roster to join the large group of freshmen that have been added to the roster.  The men's and women's basketball teams kick off the regular season at Mohawk Valley Community College November 1^st at 6 pm for the women and 8 pm for the men.  A game to highlight is the home opener November 3^rd.  This is also the first round of the Goldberg Classic basketball tournament hosted by the Twins.  The men's and women's teams will take on Word of Life Bible Institute.  The women's game starts at 2 pm with the men's game to follow at 4 pm on November 3^rd.
