Twins Come Up Short at North Country

The Twins women's basketball team traveled to North Country Community College early Sunday morning to take on the Saints.  The score was kept close throughout the game but the Saints got the lead and held onto it at the end.  The Twins would fall to the Saints by a close score of 56 – 51.  Freshman Tanisha Edge led the Twins with 17 points, seven rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.  Stacey Cherestal scored 10 points and had five rebounds.  Freshman Destynie Summers contributed nine points and had seven rebounds.  Shayna Ostrowsky scored seven points, had seven rebounds and five assists and Sophomore Brooke Hapeman also contributed six points, 11 rebounds, and two steals.  The Twins return to the basketball court Thursday February 2nd at 6 p.m. when they take the trip to play the 2016 national champions, Roxbury Community College.
