On Sunday the Twins Softball team traveled to Hudson Valley Community College to take on the Vikings! The Twins fought hard but ultimately fell 9-1 and 15-5!

Game one stats:

Madilin Green went 1-3 at the plate with a double

Kersten Keeler went 1-2 at the plate with 1 walk, 1 RBI, and a double

Kaitlyn Stagno, Haley Pulver, and Victoria Douglass all recorded a walk for the Twins. Haley Pulver recorded a stolen base

Jordan Wyant pitched 5.2 innings giving up 13 hits, 9 runs (9 earned), 3 walks, and 2 strikouts.

Game two stats:

Kersten Keeler went 1-3 at the plate with 1 run scored, and 2 RBI's

Jordan Wyant went 1-2 at the plate with 1 run scored and 1 walk

Alexandra Espel went 1-3 at the plate with a double and 1 run scored

Hailey Rowell went 1-2 at the plate with 1 RBI and a stolen base

Madilin Green had 1 run scored, and 1 walk

Kaitlyn Stagno had 1 run scored and 1 walk

Victoria Douglass and Haley Pulver both recorded an RBI

Kersten Keeler made her pitching debut in game two and got the start. Keeler pitched 3.0 innings giving up 12 hits, 14 runs (11 earned), and 2 walks.

Jordan Wyant took the mound in releif, pitching 2.0 innings giving up 1 hit and 1 runs (0 earned).

The Twins will be back in action on Tuesday May 9th when host the Mohawk Valley Community College Hawks. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30pm! Please come out and join us in honoring our three sophomores for Sophomore Day!
