The CGCC Twins Softball team hosted the Monroe College - Bronx Express in a doubleheader on Tuesday. The Twins got their first wins of the season, sweeping Monroe 7-3 and 11-5!

In the Twins 7-3 win over the Express, many of the girls contributed to the Twins offense! 

Jordan Wyant went 4-4 at the plate with 2 RBI's and 1 run scored.

Madilin Green went 2-5 at the plate with 1 RBI and 1 run scored.

Kersten Keeler went 1-3 at the plate with a triple, 3 RBI's, and 1 walk.

Victoria Douglass went 1-2 at the plate with 1 run scored and 2 walks.

Serena Adsit went 0-0 at the plate with 3 walks, 1 hit by pitch, and 2 runs scored.

Pitching for the Twins, Jordan Wyant went 7.0 innings! Wyant gave up 11 hits while only allowing 3 runs (2 earned) and striking out 4 batters!

In the Twins 11-5 win over the Express, the girls continued to produce at the plate! 

Madilin Green went 2-3 at the plate with 3 RBI's, 1 run scored, and 1 walk.

Alexandra Espel went 2-4 at the plate with 2 runs scored.

Jordan Wyant went 1-4 at the plate with 1 RBI.

Kersten Keeler went 2-4 at the plate with 2 RBI's and 2 runs scored.

Kaitlyn Stagno went 1-3 at the plate with 2 RBI's, 2 runs scored, and 1 walk.

Serena Adsit got her first hit of the season, going 1-3 at the plate with 1 run scored and 1 walk.

Hailey Rowell got her first hits of the season, going 2-3 at the plate with 2 RBI's and 1 run scored.

Pitching for the Twins again, Jordan Wyant went 5.0 innings! Wyant gave up 11 hits while only allowing 5 runs (2 earned) and striking out 4 batters!

The Twins will host SUNY Broome Community College on Tuesday April 11th! First pitch is at 3pm!
