The Lead: Columbia-Greene Twins opened double header with a 5-2 win.
How it Happened:

The Twins got on board in the first inning when Jenna Poulsen hit a solo home run to open the inning.

With the score 2-0 Twins in the third inning, the Twins continued to keep the lead as the game continued finishing 5-2.

Baylee Cox hit a triple, Jenna Poulsen and Sydney Spohler with doubles

Kaylee Hoffman and Jenna Poulsen both hit homeruns against the Bergen Bulldogs. Baylee Cox, Jenna Poulsoen, Kaylee Hoffman and Holly Kleinmeier delivered RBI's for the Twins.

Kaylee Hoffman got the win for the Twins and finished the game with seven strikeouts, giving up only two runs on five hits.

The Lead: The Twins secured the double header sweep with a 12-6 win over Bergen in game two.
How it Happened:

The Twins came out strong ending the first inning 1-0 Twins. However, the Bergen Bulldogs battled back and tied the score in the second 1-1. The Twins rallied to move ahead of the Bulldogs in the fourth moving the score 6-1 Twins. The lead was kept by the Twins ending the game 12-6 Twins.

Batting contributors for the Twins were Holly Kleinmeier with a two-run homerun and two doubles. Jenna Poulsen, Justine Albin each hit a double for the Twins. Kaylee Hoffman and Jaclyn Gehring each delivered homeruns against the Bulldogs. Baylee Cox, Kaylee Hoffman (3), Justine Albin, Holly Kleinmeier (2), Jaclyn Gehring (2) each contributed RBI's to keep the baserunners advancing.

Claire Filak and Holly Kleinmeier held the game for the Twins. Kleinmeier ended with three strikeouts only giving up three runs and one hit. Filak finished with four strikeouts and gave up three runs.
