Twins Softball season comes to a close after losing to Herkimer CC in Region Playoffs, 9-0.

Herkimer had the bases loaded in the first inning when they hit a blooper to score two runs. Herkimer continued to score and added four more runs in the second inning. The Twins attempted to comeback but couldn't get their bats going. Herkimer scored another three runs in the fourth and the Twins were unable to answer back to keep the game alive. 

D'Arcy Bittner went 1-2 with a single

Brooke Hapeman went 1-2 with a single

Coach Comments:

Herkimer is a tough team to get a game plan going for and we thought we had a good one going into the game. Jaime threw the ball pretty well for us and we played fine defense but it wasn't our day. They had a couple bloopers that really hurt us and some timely hitting. We couldn't get anything going offensively only accumulating two hits. Herkimer is very talented and I'd look for them to go far in playoffs. WE return a very good freshman class for next year and have a tremendous recruiting class coming in for the fall. I am excited to get going for next season. I'd like to thank everyone for the tremendous amount of support they have provided this year."
