Men's basketball won against the Tompkins Cortland Panthers yesterday in a thrilling contest. The final score was 82-67.

The first half was a heavily contested matchup, with both teams trading baskets and tough defenses on both sides. The half would close with the Twins up by one point and the momentum heading into the half with the score being 35-34. Coming out of the break, the Twins looked to build their lead and finish the job. They played great team defense and attacked the paint relentlessly. The team would end up building their lead all the way up to twenty points! The Twins would end up outscoring the Panthers 47-35 in the second half and would close the contest 82-67.

Multiple players would have great games for CGCC. Camelo Ayala (Bridgeport, CT) had an excellent game with a game high of 24 points. Trailing him was Lavon Fernandez (Hudson, NY), with a total of 18 points.

The Twins are back in action today (2/4/24) against Suny Broome Community College at 1p.m.
