Twins Stay Undefeated After Win Against Suny Adirondack

 

The Twins continue to roll after defeating Suny Adirondack 75-63 Tuesday evening. They now are on top of their NJCAA III division standings sitting at 3-0. The Timberwolves in the first half came out with a full court trap and then fell into a 2-3 zone. This led to the Twins attempting to stretch the floor with three's and high post touches. Sean Haye and Chrischen Chung both put in two three's each, helping push the lead to 7 with the half-time score 40-33. 

In the second half the Twins remained in control of the game. They played at their own pace, controlling the momentum of the game and working for a good shot every possession. Aaron Stewart applied pressure at the rim in the second half leading to 7 free throw attempts. Jacob Mance then extended the lead with a trio of threes. Throughout the rest of the matchup the score stayed around a 10 point lead. Aaron Stewart finished the game with 16 points and Chrischen Chung ended with 13 points. The Twins took the win 75-63 and will play again Saturday (11/11/23) @Herkimer Community College. Tip off will be at 3pm.
