Twins Fall to Hornets in Season Opener

The Twins returned after a year away, starting strongly, but falling at Broome Community College 105-64 in its season opener. 

The Twins started their 2021-22 season off by traveling to SUNY Broome Community College on Tuesday night. The Twins started off strong, having the Hornets off balance. Columbia-Greene took an early 16-11 lead and led 29-26 midway through the first half, with Devon Haye dropping 15 first-half points. A late SUNY Broome run gave them a 51-35 lead at the half and the Hornets extended the lead throughout the game. Haye finished with a team-high 20 points, while Alex Curtis and Bryan Bathrick added 19 and 18 points respectively.

The Twins will continue their two game road stint on Thursday November 11th when they travel to Tompkins-Cortland Community College to take on the Panthers. The game will tipoff at 6pm.
