Thomas Named to All-Conference Team
Twins men's basketball player, Cameron Thomas, was recently named to the Mountain Valley Conference All-Conference team for the 2019-20 season. The sophomore receives the honor after leading the team in several categories. He was officially named to the Third Team All-Conference for the 2019-2020 season.
Thomas led the team in scoring 14.4 points per game. He shot the ball well with a percentage over 50% this season. His biggest stats come in rebounds per game. He leads not just the team but all of Region III in the category. He averaged 13.1 rebounds per game. These performances from Thomas earned him NJCAA Region III Athlete of the Week honors in January.
Thomas was a team leader as he averaged a double-double this season. His biggest game came when he scored a season high 32 points in a loss at the Hudson Valley Vikings. He finished with a double-double picking up 14 rebounds as well. He really became a leader after the first half of the season. He went from averaging 10 points per game in the first half to a huge 19 points per game the rest of the season.
