Twins Take Loss on the Road
The Twins took to the road for the first time in the new year. They traveled to Clinton Community College to battle the Cougars in Region III action. The Cougars held a 5 – 7 record heading into this matchup. With the same number of wins, the Twins headed into this one with a 5 – 9 record this season.
The Cougars took the early lead, but the Twins would fight to hang around. The Twins were down at halftime, 30 – 24. It was more of the same in the second half as the Twins struggled to hang with the Cougars. The Twins eventually fell to the Cougars, 62 – 56.
This is fifth loss in a row for the Twins who have been struggling in the New Year. They will be home for their next matchup against the Herkimer Generals. This game will take place at home on Thursday January 16th with a 1 pm tip-off time.
