The Columbia-Greene CC men's basketball team beat SUNY Adirondack on Wednesday night, 79-73.  The Twins were led by Tydrea Rodriguez, who finished the game with 38 points, 29 of those coming in the second half.  

C-GCC saw themselves down 39-32 at the half.  "I didnt think we played particularly bad.  I just thought we needed to play with more energy, "said head coach Walter Rickard.  "So in the second half, we tried to speed the game up putting more pressure on them in the full court."  The Twins would get their first lead with just under nine minutes left in the the game.  The Timberwolves would not go away quietly.  They tied the game at 62 with just over five minutes remaining, but the Twins responded with run of their own, going up by as many as nine points with under a minute to go. Peter Fortes and Tydrea Rodriguez sealed the game with free throws down the stretch.

Jordan Hoose finished the game with 12 points and 12 rebounds for his 12th double-double of the season.  Sawyer Spohler and Jaden Edwards both finished with nine points and five rebounds.

The Twins improve their record to 16-12 overall and 12-12 in Region 3.

C-GCC travels to Fulton-Montgomery CC on Saturday for their last regular season game of the season. Tip-off is 1pm.
