Parks Commits to Russell Sage College

The Columbia-Greene Community College Baseball Team and it's coaching staff are honored to announce the commitment of sophomore captain Richard Parks. Ricky officially committed to play baseball at NCAA Division III Russell Sage College this past January.

Ricky was a go to pitcher for the Twins this year, making seven starts on the mound and three relief appearances. Ricky threw a total of 32.2 innings this year and collected 28 strikeouts! Ricky was also called upon a few times this year to get in the batters box. Ricky earned five hits on twenty at bats, three runs scored, and three walks as a pitcher-only! Ricky ended the season batting .250 with an on-base percentage of .375! In the field, Ricky had fifteen putouts and five assists.

Ricky's time as a Columbia-Greene baseball player was short but we are very excited to see him compete at the next level while pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Russell Sage! We wish him the best of luck in this next chapter of his life!
