Twins Sign Virginia Right Handed Pitcher/Utility

The Columbia-Greene Baseball Program would like to congratulate Jacob Davis on signing his national letter of intent to play baseball for the Twins next year! Jacob is a recent graduate of Fairfax High School in Fairfax, Virginia and will be joining the Twins in the fall of 2022. The Fairfax Lions play in the Virginia Class 6 Division.

While attending Fairfax High School, Jacob was a two-sport athlete, playing both baseball and football! Jacob played three years of baseball for the Lions where he played as a right-handed pitcher, middle infielder, third baseman, and outfielder. Jacob also played three years of football. Jacob's baseball career at Fairfax High School earned him the "Best Year Pitcher Award"! Jacob brings thirteen years of travel baseball experience with him, playing for many different teams including the Stars, the MVP Royals, and the Bulldogs!

As a student at Fairfax High School, Jacob maintained a 2.3 GPA! In his free time, Jacob enjoys working on cars, longboarding, and surfing. While attending Columbia-Greene, Jacob plans to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice! Jacob's ability to not only pitch but also play various positions in the infield and outfield makes him a very versatile player! We look forward to having Jacob contribute at various positions next season!
