Columbia-Greene would like to congratulate freshman outfielder Kasey Moore on being named to the 2022 All-Mountain Valley Conference Team! The All-Mountain Valley Conference Team is comprised of twelve players from various teams, in the Mountain Valley Conference, who stood out among their peers at their given position. One player is selected per position on the field, with three pitchers and a designated hitter also selected. Kasey was selected as one of the best three outfielders in the entire Mountain Valley Conference alongside two of Herkimer Community College's best!

Kasey, a 2021 graduate of Hudson High School, primarily played left field for the Twins this season while also seeing time in center field and behind the plate for a game. Kasey had a great season this year, playing in all 27 games the Twins played. Going 34-91 at the plate Kasey collected 20 singles, 9 doubles, 1 triple, and 1 homerun! He also tallied 14 runs, 11 RBIs, 1 walk, and 2 stolen bases. Kasey would end the season with a .374 batting average, .380 on base percentage, and a .527 slugging percentage! In the field, Kasey had 35 putouts and 5 assists on 47 total chances giving him a fielding percentage of .894. Catching a game against Cayuga Community College, Kasey threw out 4 runners! Kasey's best game came against tough competitor Herkimer Community College where he went 3-3 at the plate with 1 run, 1 double, 1 triple, and 1 RBI!
