Twin's Fall Short Versus Timberwolves

On Thursday, April 21th the Twins traveled to SUNY Adirondack to take on the Timberwolves for a Region III doubleheader!

Richard Parks would get the ball for game one of the doubleheader and have another good outing on the mound. Ricky would throw four innings holding the timberwolves to five runs. The Twins offense was slow to get started, not scoring until the fifth inning. The Twins effort to come back from down five runs in the fifth inning would come up just short, falling to the Timberwolves 6-4. Matt Damon would colllect a run and two walks and Kasey Moore would collect a run and a rbi. Cameron MacDonald would finish 1-4 with a rbi. Matt Bowes would go 2-3 with a run. Jake siter would finish 1-3. Pitcher Richard Parks would go 1-2 collecting another hit and a run. Richard would also collect four strikeouts on the mound. Zach Gorman, who came in relief, would pitch two innings allowing one run on two hits with one strikeout. The Twins would also turn a Triple Play in the bottom of the 5th on a line drive to shortstop Matt Bowes who got the runner out at second with a throw to second basemen Matt Damon followed by a throw to first basemen Joel Preusser for the third out!

Camden Redstone would get the ball for game two of the doubleheader. Adirondack would jump out to a quick 6-3 lead after the second inning. This would prove to be the total runs scored by the Twins who would fall 13-3. Cameron MacDonald 2-4 with two rbi's. Kasey Moore would finish 2-4 and Matt Bowes would finish 2-3. Jake Siter would collect one run and one walk and Joel Preusser also collected one run. Ronald Rodriguez would go 1-3 with a run and a rbi. 

The Twins will host the SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves on Saturday 4/23! First game starts at 1pm with the second game starting at 3pm!
