Twins Struggle at Home Against Mohawk Valley

On Monday, April 18th the Twins hosted Mohawk Valley for a Region III doubleheader!

Matt Bowes would get the ball for game one of the doubleheader and start off strong, allowing only two runs in the first inning which the Twins responded to by putting up three runs of their own. The Hawks would jump out and take the lead after the second inning with a score of 9-5. The Twins would out-hit the Hawks ten to eight but ultimately fall 11-6. Matt Damon went 1-4 with a run. Joel Preusser went 1-3 with a walk. Cameron MacDonald went 2-4 with a run. Kasey Moore went 1-4 with two runs, and a rbi. Matt Bowes went 2-4 with two runs, and an rbi. Jake Siter went 2-2 with three rbi's and two walks. Alex Curtis went 1-3 with a rbi and a walk. Moore and Siter would both collect a double in game one. Cameron MacDonald would also relieve Bowes on the mound collecting three strikeouts in relief. 

Alex Curtis would get the ball for game two of the doubleheader. Mohawk Valley jumped out to a quick 5-2 lead through three innings. A strong fifth inning from the Hawks would win them the game 14-2 over the Twins. Cameron MacDonald collected a run and a walk. Kasey Moore went 1-3 with two rbi's. Jake Siter finished 1-2. Alex Curtis finished 1-1 with a walk. Pitcher Camden Redstone would collect his first collegiate hit going 1-2 with a run. 

The Twins will travel to SUNY Adirondack to take on the Timberwolves on Thursday 4/21! First game starts at 2pm with the second game starting at 4pm!
