Twins Lose To Generals On Road

The Twins continued their 2021-22 spring season yesterday, traveling to Herkimer Community College. 

Matt Bowes got the ball for game one of the double header. The Twins would struggle early falling behind after the first inning and never catching back up, ultimately falling to the Generals 16-3. Matt Bowes would throw three innings, striking out eight. Jake Siter would go 1-3 and Matt Damon would collect a walk and a run. Alex Curtis went 1-2 with a hit and a run. Matt Bowes would go 1-2 with a hit and a rbi. Cameron MacDonald went 1-2 with a hit, a rbi and a walk. Kasey Moore went 1-2 with a hit, a rbi, and a walk. 

Cameron MacDonald got the ball for game two of the double header. Game two was a rough one for the Twins who would fall to the Generals 17-1. Cameron MacDonald would throw the entire four innings and collect 1 strikeout. MacDonald also went 1-2 at the plate for the Twins. Jake Siter was the star of the show for game two, hitting his first collegiate homerun in the top of the fifth inning. Siter went 1-2 at the plate with a homerun and a rbi. Siter's homerun was the only run scored by the Twins!

 

The Twins will travel to Mohawk Valley Community College on Friday 4/15! First game starts at 2pm with the second game starting at 4pm!
