C-GCC Baseball took on tough opponent Hudson Valley CC over the weekend. Game 1 and 2 of the weekend was played on the Twins Baseball field on Saturday. Game 3 and 4 was played away at the Joe Bruno stadium on Sunday.
Game 1: 14-3
Twins racked up only a total of eight hits for game one. Noah Ernst and Dylan Snow both hit doubles. Alec Reeves went 2 for 2, hitting singles both times. Mike Bowes, Juan Trillo, Jesse DelVescovo, and Joe Murray each got a hit.
In the bottom of the first inning, the Twins took an early lead 2-0 off a single by Juan Trillo that plated Reeves and Bowes. The last run of the game for C-GCC came in the fifth inning off a groundout by Ernst that scored Reeves.
Mercury Mason started the game on the mound and went four innings allowing only seven hits, eight runs and only two earned runs.
Game 2: 16-1
For game two the Twins only collected three hits. Collin Lynk went 2-2 with a double and run scored. Juan Trillo went 1-2 with an RBI.
The lone run by Trillo was scored in the fourth inning off a single to left field that pushed across Lynk.
Game 3: 11-1
The first game of Sunday the Twins only collected four hits by Collin Lynk, Juan Trillo, Mercury Mason, and Dylan Snow.
The lone run was given to Dylan Snow off a ground out to second base that scored Mason in the fifth inning.
Game 4: 11-1
Last game against HVCC the Twins recorded five hits. Juan Trillo went 2-2 with a run scored. Mercury Mason, Joe Murray, and Mitch Black all collected a hit.
The only run by the Twins came in the fifth inning off a single to left field by Murray that scored Trillo.
