Hudson Boys and Catskill Girls Win CGCC's Basketball Summer League

Over the course of the summer, Columbia Greene Community College hosted it's annual Basketball Summer League for local high school teams. This year CGCC was privileged to have both boys and girls league's running which led to a total of seventy games being played. After a record of 9-0 in regular season play, Hudson would own the #1 seed and charged their way to a grand finals match against Greenville who had a record of 7-2. Both sides led a competitive fight till the end but Hudson would come out on top with the final score of 48-40. This made Hudson the reigning champion for the second season in a row. It was a great game and a great way to conclude the 2024 Boys Basketball Summer League.

On the girls side neither the #1 seed or the #2 seed would see the finals and instead it was Catskill vs Chatham. Both teams fought through a tough bracket to reach the finals and it would result in a fun game. Ultimately Catskill would take home the win with the score 25-13.
