Twins Downed By Raiders

The women's basketball team hosted the Fulton-Montgomery Community College Raiders last night. The visiting Raiders jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter with a score of 14 – 11.  The Twins struggled to keep up and finished the half down by a score of 34 – 25.  It was much of the same in the second half. Freshman Tanisha Edge scored 12 points in the fourth quarter to try to get the Twins back in the game but it was not enough.  The Twins would be defeated by the Raiders 79 – 57.  The leading scorer for the Twins was Tanisha Edge with 22 points.  Freshman All'aha Albright scored 14 points.  Amira Furtado also contributed seven points.  The Twins will play again at North Country Community College as they take on the Saints at 1pm January 29th.
