The women's basketball team had two road games this week at SUNY Adirondack and Tompkins Cortland Community College.  On Saturday they took on the SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves.  It was a close one from the start with the Twins trailing at the half by only two 25 – 23.  The Timberwolves came out hot in the third quarter scoring 12 and holding the Twins to only four points.  The Twins attempted a comeback scoring 14 points in the fourth quarter.  The Twins ultimately fell to the Timberwolves 44 – 41. Tanisha Edge was the leading scorer for the Twins with 22 points, eight rebounds and three assists.  All'aha Albright scored nine points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Freshman Shayna Ostrowsky contributed five points and eight rebounds.

On Sunday the women traveled to Dryden, NY to take on the Tompkins Cortland Community College Panthers in hopes of getting a win on the road.  The game started with the panthers going up 6 – 0 in the first five minutes but the Twins were right back in it after Tanisha Edge hit two three pointers to tie the game up.  The game was close the first half as the Twins trailed by only two at halftime.  Both teams continued to battle tough but the Panthers pulled away in the fourth quarter.  The Twins lost this one by a final score or 60 – 54.  Tanisha Edge tied her season high with 34 points in the game along with nine rebounds and four assists.  Freshman All'aha Albright scored six points and grabbed 11 rebounds.  Sophomore Brooke Hapeman contributed six points and eight rebounds.  The women play again at home Wednesday January 25th at 6pm against Fulton-Montgomery Community College.
