Women’s Basketball Drops Game to Cannoneers

The women's basketball team took on the Jefferson Community College Cannoneers this past Saturday. The Twins got into a hole early as they trailed after the first quarter 30 – 12.  The Twins could not mount a comeback and fell to the Cannoneers by a final score of 93 – 62.  The leading scorer for the Twins was Freshman Tanisha Edge with 26 points and four steals.  Freshman All'aha Albright scored 18 points and had three rebounds.  Freshman Shayna Ostrowsky contributed eight points and had four rebounds.  Freshman Stacey Cherestal contributed seven points and four assists.  The Twins take on Corning Community College at home on December 11th at 11am.
