Freshman Tanisha Edge was named the NJCAA Region III athlete of the week for her impressive performance in the Twins' games last week.  As the leading scorer in all three games last week, she currently is averaging about 26 points per game.  Against a tough Sullivan County team Tanisha netted 27 points.  Edge got a triple-double as she scored 20 points against Community College of Philadelphia while also getting 11 steals and 12 assists.  In the Goldberg Classic championship game she scored 33 points while also getting five steals, six assists, and five rebounds to lead the Twins to victory, and claimed Most Valuable Player of the tournament.  Congratulations, Tanisha!
