The women's basketball team earned their first victory of the season against Community College of Philadelphia. They get the win at home in the first round of the Goldberg Classic. The Twins outscored the Colonials 26 – 1 in the first quarter to give them a commanding lead. This success would continue for the Twins as they went on to win 84 – 21. Freshmen Tanisha Edge and Stacey Cherestal both led the team in scoring with 20 points each. Shayna Ostrowsky scored 14 points, and Destynie Summers scored 10 points. This win puts Columbia-Greene in the championship game to take on SUNY Orange in the Goldberg Classic championship. Tip off for the women's championship is at 2pm.
