The Twins Softball team hosted the SUNY Broome Community College Hornets on Thursday afternoon. The Twins held the game close, down 2-0 through 4 innings. SUNY Broome extend their lead over the Twins in the 5th inning but would be countered by a three run homerun from Kersten Keeler, her first offical collegiate homerun! The Twins would fall to the Hornets 10-3. Game two of the double header was called after two innings due to an injury on the Twins side, resulting in a forfeit. 

Alexandra Espel went 3 for 4 at the plate with 1 run scored and a stolen base!

Kersten Keeler went 1 for 3 at the plate with 1 run scored, 1 walks, 3 RBI's, and a homerun!

Kaitlyn Stagno went 1 for 3 at the plate. 

Jordan Wyant pitched 7.0 inning for the twins giving up 7 hits, 10 runs (only 1 earned), 4 walks, and 7 strikeouts!

The Twins will host the Word of Life Huskies on Thursday 4/13. First pitch is at 3pm!
