Jaime Staunch earns herself the honor of being named this week's NJCAA Region III Female Athlete of the Week! 

In four games, with three starts in the circle this week Jaime went 2-1 with a save. She recorded 23 strikeouts in 23 innings pitched allowing 7 earned runs. At the plate she went 8-17 with 3 doubles, 5 RBI's, 6 runs scored and 3 walks.

On the mound, Staunch is ranked #1 in the region for strikeouts with a total of 54. She is also ranked #9 in the region for earned run average and #1 with total saves.

Not only has she made it to the top of region rankings, Staunch is ranked #6 in the nation for strikeouts and #22 in the nation for earned run average.
