The Twins are back this weekend with two home games on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday (1/13/24) they will take on Genesee Community College at 12pm. The Genesee Cougars come into the game with an overall record of 12-3 and a conference record of 6-1. Then on Sunday (1/14/24) they'll compete against Corning Community College at 2pm. Corning is coming into the game with a record of 3-8 and a conference record of 3-4.

The Twins this season have had multiple athletes prosper and shine throughout the first half of the schedule. Going into the back half of the season, here are a few players to keep track of. Sophomore guard Christen Chung (Poughkeepsie, NY) has been a great asset to the Twins. Chung has averaged ten points, four rebounds, and four assists per game so far. The most impressive thing about him however is how efficient he is. So far this season he has averaged 42.1% from the field and has an outstanding three point percentage of 44% on five attempts a game. Freshman forward Lavon Fernandez (Hudson, NY) delivered massive games for the Twins this season. On the season he is averaging sixteen points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Fernandez is also leading the team in field goal percentage at 62.8%. Two more freshman guards that have been essential to the teams success are Carmelo Ayala (Bridgeport, CT) and Aaron Stewart (Brooklyn, NY). Ayala has been a key tool in breaking down defenses and getting to his spots. He is currently averaging twelve points, two rebounds, and 4 assists per game. Aaron Stewart has been great on both sides of the ball, currently he is averaging eleven points per game, nine rebounds, and three assists per game.

We look forward to the rest of the season and are excited to see our Twins back on the floor.
