Twins Finish Regular Season; Prepare for Region III Playoffs

The Twins men's basketball team played their last game of the regular season on Thursday. They were on the road to take on the SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves. This is the second time they have met with the Twins narrowly getting the victory by one point the first time. 

Despite shooting the ball well, the Twins struggled on the defensive side in the first half. They allowed the Timberwolves to have a huge half scoring 54 points. The Twins were in a hole at halftime, 54-40. The Twins were able to match the Timberwolves scoring in the second but they failed to make a comeback. The Twins fall to end the regular season, 100-86. 

The Twins end the regular season with a loss but will look to make it up in the sub-regional playoff matchup. Earning the #9 seed in the regional tournament, the Twins will face-off against the #8 North Country Community College Saints. The Twins have one win and one loss against the Saints this season. Both coming in February. The winner of this matchup will take on the #1 seed Mohawk Valley Hawks. 

The Twins will look to move on in the playoffs Saturday February 22nd. They will travel to North Country to take on the Saints at 3 pm.
