Twins Take on Vikings

The Twins were back in action Tuesday for their first game of the new year. They kicked it off with a rivalry match-up against the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings. The Vikings have won nine of their 13 games this season. Meanwhile, the Twins went 5-8 in the first half of the season.

The Twins struggled to get shots to fall in the first half. However, they were able to hold the Vikings to just 35 points to keep the game withing three points, 35 – 32. The Vikings quickly extended that lead at the start of the second half. The Twin's Freshman Jason Davis exploded for 10 points in the second half. However, they ultimately fell to the Vikings by a final of, 80 – 67.

Sophomore Cameron Thomas and Freshman Rande Harper each scored 15 points in the contest. Freshman Jason Davis finished with 10 points, all coming in the second half. Sophomore Myles Ukoh added nine points.

The Twins will look to get their first win of the new year when they take to the road for their next game. They will take on the Clinton Community College Cougars in Plattsburgh Tuesday January 14^th. This game will tip off at 4 pm.
