Twins Finish Regular Season

The Twins basketball teams finished off the regular season at home on Saturday.  Pre-game ceremonies were held, celebrating sophomores that will be leaving the team.  After the ceremony, the Twins got set to take on Fulton-Montgomery Community College.

The Twins took on the Fulton-Montgomery Community College Raiders in their last game of the season.  With only five players and no bench, the Twins looked to battle it out.  They got off to a slow start in the first half as they were outshot by the Raiders, 59 – 29.  The tide changed for the Twins in the second half as their scoring lit up the board with 65 points scored.  This would not be enough however as the Twins finish their season with a 125 – 94 loss.  Freshman Donavan Williams led the team in scoring with 23 points, five assists, and four steals.  Sophomore Jordan Wright scored 21 points and had six assists and five rebounds.  Freshman Rayquan Bryant achieved another double-double with 18 points scored and 10 rebounds.  Freshman Bright Afful contributed 19 points and seven rebounds.

The Twins finish their season with a 11-16 record and in 11th place in the Region III standings.
