Both the men's and women's basketball teams took the bus trip to North Country Community College for a conference matchup.

The men's team competed in the 7 pm game at North Country.  The Twins were looking to string wins together after winning their last game at Fulton-Montgomery.  The Twins struggled in the early part of the game but kept it within reach by halftime trailing the Saints, 47 – 41.  The Saints began to pull away in the second half while the Twins struggled to score.  The lead stretched too far as the Twins fell to the Saints, 92 – 77.  The leading scorer for the Twins was Sophomore Matthew Smith with 20 points.  Freshman Jahrice Ballard scored 16 points with seven rebounds.  Sophomore Jordan Wright contributed 11 points, five assists, and four steals. 

The Twins will look to bounce back when they hit the road again to travel to Clinton Community College.  The Twins will take on the Cougars on February 2^nd at 5 pm for the women's game and 7 pm for the men's game.
