Twins Score Big at Raiders

The Twins men's basketball team traveled to take on the Fulton-Montgomery Community College Raiders Wednesday.  This is the first of two meetings with the Raiders this season.  It was close from the very beginning.  They were neck and neck going into halftime with the Raiders leading 46 – 45.  The Twins came out in the second half ready to take it over.  They dropped 47 points in the second half to gain the lead and win the game.  Everyone was scoring for the Twins with five of their seven players scored in the double digits.  Freshman Rayquan Bryant achieved a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds.  Freshman Jacorey Nixon scored 18 points as well and had seven rebounds.  Freshman Jahrice Ballard scored 16 points.  Freshman Bright Afful scored six points and grabbed a team leading 13 rebounds.  The Twins look to continue to improve their record when they travel to North Country Community College to take on the Saints.  The women's game begins at 1 pm and the men's game follows at 3 pm.
