Twins Win Three in a Row

The men's team traveled to Schenectady County Community College to take on the Royals for the second time this season.  The first matchup between the two teams this season resulted in a Royals victory by only five points.  The Twins seemed to remember that as they came out hot in the first half.  They took a commanding lead over the Royals going into the half up 44 – 25.  The Twins would get beat in the second half but still hold on to win the game 75 – 66.  The Twins get their third win in a row after losing six of their first eight games.  Freshman Rayquan Bryant had a big game for the Twins shooting 53% from the field and 50% from the three-point line for 23 points.  Bryant also recorded four rebounds and four assists.  Sophomore Matthew Smith shot 50% from the three-point line for 16 points and five rebounds.  Freshman Jahrice Ballard contributed 11 points and three rebounds.  The Twins will play on the road once again and take on Corning Community College Sunday December 10th.  The women start at 1 pm and the men begin at 3 pm.
