Winning Weekend for Twins Basketball

The men's team took on the Jefferson Community College Cannoneers in their last home game of the semester.  The Twins were coming off a win against Ulster Community College on Thursday.  They started out shooting well scoring 39 points in the first half but still trailed by six at halftime. The Twins would rally behind Jordan Wrights big game and erase the halftime defecit to win 76 – 68.  Sophomore Jordan Wright has the hot hand scoring 19 points and recording six assists and six steals.  Freshman Rayquan Bryant shot 67% from the three-point line to score 12 points and grab seven assists.  Freshman Jacorey Nixon and Bright Afful each contributed 10 points in the win.  The Twins will finish the year with three games on the road.  The first comes at Schenectady County Community College Tuesday December 5th.  The women's game tips off the action at 5 pm and the men's game follows at 7 pm.
