Twins Lose Two on Road Trip

Twins basketball took a two game road trip this past weekend.  It was another close game for the men's team when they took on the Cayuga Community College Spartans.  The Twins trailed by only two at halftime by a score of 38 – 36.  They would continue the offense but would fall defensively allowing 50 points to the Spartans in the second half.  The Twins would lose another close one to Cayuga Community College 88 – 80.  Freshman Rayquan Bryant was the leading scorer for the Twins.  He racked up 19 points and six rebounds against the Spartans.  Sophomore Michael Henry contributed 13 points and eight rebounds.  Freshman Jamie Nurse scored 10 points with five rebounds in the loss. 

The next day of the road trip for the Twins was at Onondaga Community College against the Lazers.  The Twins defense once again plagued them as they allowed 51 points in the first half.  This left them trailing at halftime 51 – 34.  The Twins upped their offense in the second half but once again gave up over 50 points to the Lazers.  The Twins fell to Onondaga Community College 102 – 82.  Leading scorer for the Twins was Sophomore Jordan Wright with 17 points and eight assists.  Freshman Rayquan Bryant scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds. Bright Afful and Matthew Smith each contributed 11 points in the effort.  The

Twins will be back in action on December 2nd when they take on Jefferson Community College at home.  The women's game begins at 1 pm and the men's game follows at 3 pm.
