Split Games Against SUNY Sullivan

The women walked away in victory and the men fell just short in the basketball games held at Columbia-Greene CC Tuesday, November 7th.  Leading the charge in the women's game was Tanisha Edge, contributing 20 points and eight assists, as the Twins earned a 68-63 win.  Stong showings by returners All'aha Albright (18 points, six rebounds, 5 assists) and Shayna Ostrowsky (10 points, four steals) helped the team extend the current win streak to three games.

The men dropped to a 2-2 record in a narrow loss to SUNY Sullivan, who currently posses a national ranking (6th).  Although the team was not able to notch another win, starting sophomore Jordan Wright put forth a valiant effort with 15 points.  Newcomers Jamie Nurse and Jahrice Ballard contributed 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Both programs hit the hardwood at home on Sunday, November 12th against Schenectady County Community College, starting at 1 p.m.
