Twins Topped By Cougars on the Road

The Twins men's basketball team traveled to Plattsburgh, NY Saturday to take on the Clinton Community College Cougars.  This marks the second time that the Twins have faced the Cougars this season.  The Twins got the win the first time they met, beating the Cougars by 14 points.  This game would prove to be tougher as the Twins struggled to score in the first half.  The Twins scored only 23 points to put them behind at halftime.  Their shooting got better in the second half but the Twins 17 turnovers would help the Cougars take the win by a final score of 64 – 53.  The leading scorer for the Twins was freshman Matthew Smith with 11 points.   Sophomore Christopher Kidd had 10 points and eight rebounds.  Freshman Josiah McCall scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds.  Freshman Kolby Phillips also contributed six points.  The Twins will take on the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings in their next game at home Wednesday February 15th at 7 pm.
