Chance Ryan (Cairo-Durham HS) netted a career-high 16 points, including 4-for-5 from the 3 point line, to help lead the Twins past Ulster CC at home Tuesday night.

The offense started slow, scoring only 2 points in the first 6 minutes of play, but the Twins were able to build a 34-23 lead going into halftime.  Sophomore Derwyn Thompson was the catalyst in the second half, scoring 17 of his 25 points.  The Twins were able to stretch the lead to as many as 39 points in the final stanza.  "We received great effort this evening from our big men, Everton Higgins and Anthony Chicaiza, and a great spark from Sawyer Spohler.  We were able to find some great scoring options within our offense, which I hope to see continue," said head coach Walter Rickard.  Freshman Tydrea Rodriguez contributed 11 points and 7 rebounds on the win, and Jaden Edwards had a productive evening on the boards, grabbing 9 rebounds.

With the win, the Twins even their record to 5-5.  Next up, the Twins take on SUNY Orange on Thursday at 6PM at home.
