C-GCC Men's basketball player Khalil Paul was named to the All-Region III and All-Mountain Valley Conference third team for the 2012-2013 season.  Paul was one of eight freshmen to make the All-Region Team, and one of six to make the All-conference Team.  He led the team in scoring, averaging 15.1 points per game, and was second on the team in rebounding, grabbing 5.2 rebounds per game.  "Khalil was a key player for us this season, and we will be expecting even better things from him next season," said Head Coach Walter Rickard.

Along with region and conference honors, Paul received the President James R. Campion Free Throw Shooting Award, given to the team's best free throw shooter.  He received the award during the team's last home game against Clinton Community College.
