The Columbia-Greene men's basketball team looked to stay unbeaten in Region III Thursday night at Mohawk Valley, but came up short, suffering their first defeat 70-56.

Khalil Paul led the Twins with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Dienet Saint Jean added 14 points, nine rebounds and four assists.

C-GCC (5-2, 3-1 Region III, 1-1 MVC) faces Corning Community College in the opening round of the Tarantelli Classic Saturday in Corning at 7 p.m.
