Twins Rocket League entered the Contender Hudson Valley Rocket League tournament this past Saturday (4/13/24). In the winners bracket the Twins faced a domiant Marist College who have been running through the Maac conference and have placed well all season long. In the first series for our Twins, they would go in and lose 0-3. While the game count doesn't make it seem close our Twins put up a good fight against a great Marist team. The Twins would remain calm and would now advance to play Caldwell University in losers round two. This series was a war. Rueben "Rhubii" Engelheart would have himself an excellent series that saw him end with over ten saves, a goal, and an assist. This however wasn't enough to put the Twins on top as they would eventually fall to Caldwell 0-3. Michael "bigboyliver" Livermore would finish the event with a handful of saves along with multiple shots on goal and freshman Peter "Boregong" Gravina would finish with a goal, an assist, and a couple of saves along the way. The Twins would finish thier run with a top 6th placing and will be back to compete in the NJCAAE open series to conclude the semester.
