Hailey Beaumont, Softball

Hailey Beaumont is an outfielder on the Twins softball team. She is a local girl having graduated from Hudson High School in 2018. Currently she is a freshman criminal justice major right here at Columbia-Greene Community College. Beaumont is off to a great start academically as she was the only member of the athletics 4.0 club this past semester. The freshman looks to help the softball team on the field as an outfielder with a big arm. She signed a letter of intent to play softball here over the summer. Head coach, Peter Dedrick, had this to say about her at the time “We have Hailey Beaumont, outfielder-center fielder. She has tremendous range, and something we lacked last year is speed and she is a very fast person and can swing it a little bit, too.” As Coach Dedrick stated, she also brings a lot of speed to a team that lacked that speed last season. This was an important pickup for the softball team since they lost seven players to graduation last season. We have seen the success she can have in the classroom, now we are excited to see what she can do on the field. Below are some fun facts about softball player Hailey Beaumont.
