Baylee Cox

Softball

Baylee Cox is a sophomore on the Twins softball team. She graduated from Chatham High School and is currently getting ready to graduate from Columbia-Greene Community College with her associate’s degree. Cox has been a key player on the Twins softball team for two years now. After receiving all conference honors last season, she is on pace to do the same this season. Cox currently holds a .306 batting average and 12 runs batted in. She leads the team in stolen bases with six, walks with 14, and on base percentage at .432. One of her best games of the season came vs Finger Lakes Community College. Cox went one for one at the plate batting in two runs and scoring four runs herself. She walked three times and picked up a stolen base in the victory. Just last week was the student recognition ceremony where Cox received the Twins 2019 Female Athlete of the Year Award. Cox is currently getting ready to take on Onondaga Community College in the Region III playoffs with the rest of the Twins softball team. We look forward to seeing Cox and the rest of the team in action tomorrow in the first round of playoffs. Below are some fun facts about Baylee Cox.
